This Week in Saskatoon: The Bronx, Electric Six, Prozzäk

The Bronx are pretty great and all. With their distinct mix of catchy hardcore with plenty of room for high kicks, there are plenty of reasons to get stoked for the group’s return to Saskatoon at Louis’ on Friday, April 7. But while the circle pit-ready rhythms make for compelling catharsis, the group’s take on Mariachi music is the proverbial icing on the cake. Somehow, The Bronx’ unlikely side-project became just as memorable as their hardcore day job. Hopefully someone busts out a trumpet for the encore… Also, Prozzäk will be taking over the stage at the Saskatoon Event Centre on Thursday, which is sort of weird… and unsettling… I dunno man.
