This Week in Saskatoon: Alexis Normand, Brodie Moniker, Dany Laj and the Looks

It’s been busy times for Francophone singer-songwriter Alexis Normand. Not only has she been touring in support of a new album, three music videos, and a holiday single, the singer will be picking up “Best Female Singer” at the 2017 Gala des prix Trille Or’ 17, an awards gala for francophone music and musicians outside of Québec. You can check her out on Wednesday, March 1 at the Bassment. Also happening this week: Dany Laj and the Looks, a Montreal-based group, are criminally-underrated power-pop that moves the hips and powers airplanes. No foolin’. You can dance up a storm this Thursday, March 2 at Vangelis.
