Regina band the third act announced for upcoming Mar. 2 festival
Robot Hive, a five-piece electro pop band from Regina, have been added to this year’s OMFEST.
The group, which features past members of Geronimo and Sylvie, have only formed in the past year, but have already solidified a distinctive sound.
“The band has just finished recording a two song demo to get the word out,” says bassist Henry Brass. “We plan on having an EP out by June. This record would accompany us on our summer and fall exploits, with a fall tour for Canada in the making along with us doing the showcase and festival circuits (Sled Island, CMJ, NXNE, Canadian Music Week).
“Come out get fuckin’ weird.”
In the meantime, check out one of the band’s rough tracks.
