January Style Guide

Editor’s Note: As Ominocity continues to expand into topics beyond the Saskatoon music scene, we are now showcasing a fashion column that features garments and accessories from local shops as well as models, photographers and designers. Thankfully we have a talented contributor on board, Caitlin Pickett, who has a keen eye for design and a fashion sense that goes far beyond cutting sleeves off T-shirts.

A great day-to-day coat, the parka is cozy, comfortable and provides lots of warmth.

Stand out against the grey and white of winter with a colourful, chromatic coat!

Pair a winter-chic coat in a neutral shade with a unique, two-toned boot. We loved this European pair!

Faux-fur, or any fuzzy coat for that matter is a winter wardrobe staple. Add berry-hued accessories for a pop of colour!

Command attention in an edgy, structured military-inspired coat. Available in so many colours.

A favorite of the set, this navy hue is classic. Girly details contrast with animal print for a pretty-cool look.

Cozy and casual, poncho's are making a comeback. This boho look makes everyone feel comfortable.

Like the LBD every wardrobe needs a LBC! Paired with sparkly heels this coat looks great over an evening dress.
