Slow Down, Molasses

Slow Down Molasses to play OMFEST 3D

OMFEST 3D to take place at Amigos on Feb. 22

Ominocity is pleased to announce our next confirmed performer for OMFEST 3D.

Slow Down Molasses, a droney post-rock band from Saskatoon, has been added to OMFEST 3D.

In addition to eating copious amounts of burritos, the five-piece are currently planning on playing SXSW in Austin, Texas in March, says singer Tyson McShane.

“We are currently scheming about how best to release a record we made last year called Burnt Black Cars. If all goes well, it should come out by the end of summer. We recorded it at the Avenue Recording Company and then had Jace Lasek of the Besnard Lakes mixed it at Breakglass Studio in Montreal.

“We are all pretty excited about how the record turned out, so we want to make sure people hear it when we finally do release it.”
