Fisticuffs, a rambling indie folk rock group, have recently added some new members to their line-up in addition to gearing up for the eventual release of their yet-to-be-titled full-length album, which was recorded with JP Maurice at Vancouver’s Blue Light Studio.
“The live show has come a long way in the last year, and the record is a good snapshot of that,” says front man Jordan Kurtz.
“It’s a mix of old and new songs that have found a way to tie together naturally. It feels big. It’s clean and just country enough.”
