MoSoFest PREVIEW: A Ghost in Drag are technical wizards

Saskatoon four-piece drop two songs in advance of summer release

Editor’s Note – The following is part two of many previews on Ominocity’s upcoming sponsored MoSoFest showcase. Look forward to our ongoing coverage of MoSo.

Saskatoon’s A Ghost in Drag are total technical wizards. Primarily focusing on harsh metal, the group cover plenty of musical ground within their songwriting.

Think of it as attention deficit disorder you can thrash and bang to.

Over the course of the two tracks on their Bandcamp page, A Ghost in Drag take elements of grind, metal and mathcore and weave together along with strange and unexpected musical interludes.

The group are hoping to drop a proper release this summer.

As a warm-up to their appearance at MoSo, you can catch A Ghost in Drag opening for Endast and Agony Spawn at Lydia’s Metal Monday tonight.

Check out A Ghost in Drag at Rock the Bottom on Saturday, June 15 at 9:45pm.
