What to do in Saskatoon: Nuit Blanche, CFCR FM-Phasis, Comeback Kid September 24 - October 1, 2018

Nuit Blanche Saskatoon 2018

It’s back. The annual Nuit Blanche Festival, a free night-time festival that showcases and celebrates art and culture, will return on Saturday, bringing spectacle, light and all sorts of fun weird stuff to Saskatoon’s alleyways, street corners and bridges. Come explore your city and hopefully be inspired! Trivia: One of Ominocity’s editors will be bringing an installation to life at this event – try and guess which one!

CFCR FM-Phasis Kickoff, with The Pistolwhips, Zelda Belladonna and Sitcom

It’s that time of year again. Donate to CFCR because you want to, but also for the sheer amount of good they do for this city’s music and culture scene. Donate! But that also means the station will be hosting a number of fundraising shows, including this lil keeper – this Friday at the Capitol.

Comeback Kid, No Warning and Higher Power

Remember Comeback Kid? They’re back, and will be headlining at Louis this Wednesday. Also, do check out No Warning, which features one of those guitar playing guys from hardcore legends Fucked Up.

The Faps, Twin Voices and The Sips

The Faps are pretty cool and all – and you should def go see them before one half of the core group moves away from Saskatoon – but this is one of those shows where you need to get there early to see the openers. Catch Twin Voices and The Sips, and The Faps, this Thursday at the Black Cat.

KEN Mode, Shallow North Dakota, Soul Mates

Out Nuit Blanche-ing? Need a place to warm up? Come hairwhip at this sludged-out banger featuring local peeps doing good things and a gem from the past, this Saturday at the Black Cat.
