Technology “unconference” planned for May 2
After taking a year hiatus, BarCamp is set to make its return to Saskatoon on Saturday, May 2 at VendAsta (401 – 220 3rd Ave S). BarCamp is free to attend and anyone is welcome to sign up to speak at the event. In fact all talks, demos and workshops are given by attendees.
Ominocity has presented at BarCamp several times in the past, giving such booze-fuelled lectures as “How to Create an Award Winning Blog in 6 Months“, “Ominocity’s Guide to Going Viral” and “When It’s Time to Party We Will Party Hard: Ominocity’s Guide to Event Planning“. We’ve also caught some amazing lectures on topics ranging from illicit music downloading to the history of animated gifs.
