The Sheepdogs, Deep Dark Woods top Gateway Festival’s 2014 line-up

Gateway Festival takes place July 25-27, 2014 Bengough, SK

The Gateway Festival, located in the deep south of Saskatchewan in the town of Bengough, is celebrating their 10th anniversary in style.

Topping the list of headliners this year are Sask. groups such as The Sheepdogs, Deep Dark Woods, Library Voices and Close Talker. They’ll be joined by artists such as Tim Hicks, Justin Townes Earle and Daniel Romano.

Other artists include Bend Sinister, Belle Plaine, The Bros. Landreth, Kacy & Clayton, Belle Plaine, The Dead South, Pile Of Bones Brass Band, Indigo Joseph, T.B. Judd, Badland Country Band, Black Drink Crier, Nick Faye, Government Town, Megan Nash, Slim City Pickers, Danny Olliver and Judy K Trio.

Last year’s event was nothing short of amazing. Local ranchers joined forces with indie rock kids and country and folk enthusiasts, as performers from all over the province and beyond took to the two stages at the event.

Bringing together headliners such as Steve Earle and Corb Lund along with alterna-acts such as Limblifter, Wooden Sky and Yukon Blonde over the course of the weekend, The Gateway Festival has proven itself to be Saskatchewan’s next major music event.
