Ominocity named ‘Best Website/Blog’ in Planet S Magazine readers’ poll for third year in a row
It’s that time of the year again when Planet S Magazine unveils their ‘Best of Saskatoon’ Reader’s Poll.
Drum roll…
For the third consecutive year, Ominocity was named ‘Best Website/Blog’.
Wow, thanks. Seriously, thank you.
It’s been a strange year but also a good one. Lots of amazing bands have once again proven that our city is a musical behemoth to be reckoned with. Like there was ever any doubt.
Ominocity would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who voted for us, in addition to our daily readers and supporters as we continue to expand our content and reach out to more people in the community. We also want to give cheers to everyone who plays in a band and tries to make their scene a better place. And we especially want to give mad props to those who don’t think twice about going out and supporting their local scene – sometimes it’s not the bands but those in the audience that make a show interesting. You all deserve sloppy make-outs.
As for the future, I don’t want to give too much away, but Ryan and I have already begun planning OMFEST 3. And, once again, we’re changing everything up and doing it different again this year. So look forward to that.
