The Lazy MKs premiere new single with collaborator Snake River

Regina group to back Belle Plaine this Friday at Regina’s German Club

The Lazy MKs, a Regina instrumental post-country group, have released their latest single “Got A Record Now”, a collaboration with Snake River.

The song comes in advance of their upcoming show this Friday, September 20, at the German Club in Regina, where the group will be backing folk singer Belle Plaine in addition to bringing their own set featuring the 13th Avenue Strings and Pile O’Bones Brass Band horns.

The Lazy MKs’ Etienne Soulodre says to expect a similar vibe from their killer set as seen at this summer’s Gateway Festival. Also, there’s a good chance they will do their killer cover of the Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage” again.

Other installations of the Sunset Sessions have included collaborations with Belle Plaine as well as Andy Shauf and Carl Johnson of Library Voices.
