One of my favourite memories of this summer was hanging out at the Sled Island festival in Calgary, waiting for the almighty stoner metal gods in Sleep to take the stage.
Apparently I wasn’t the only one.
With the smell of weed, jean jackets with the sleeves cut off and unwashed bro permeating throughout the air, I noticed the dudes from Vancouver’s Bison B.C. hanging out backstage waiting for Sleep to slay us with doom noise. The dudes in Bison crushed endless cans of beer and high-fives and were likely more stoked than anyone in the crowd.
This is how I feel about seeing Bison B.C. tonight.
Also opening are locals Adolyne and Shooting Guns.
Come crush beers with me in the alley and get stoked for some high-fives.
