An empty, fenced off lot where a great bar once stood is reminding us that it’s time to get some folks together. A year has gone by like it was yesterday, with many happenings in between, so it’s time to put the call out. For anyone who ever went there, drank there, played there, or worked there, on Sunday, April 8th, you’re all invited to the Capitol for a Lydia’s get-together. Bring yourselves, artifacts, and memories, and say hello to some folks you might not have seen for a long time. There will be drink specials, free pool, and memorial slide show. Local artists Sandie Irvine’s Lydia’s Lego building will be on display, as well as Matt Gignac’s poster sized pen drawings of the Lydia’s Building. If you have any other memorabilia or created work that you’d like to share, please bring it. As well, if anyone has photos from back in the day that you’d like to share, please drop them here, and we’ll add them to the show.
Doors are open at 3:00. Tell your friends, and we’ll see you all there.
