Oktoberfest is happening this Saturday, Oct. 4
Aside from the massive steins of beer and Lederhosen, Oktoberfest is a wild celebration of culture, food and music. Also, beer. However, rarely is it associated with what appears to be a mini indie rock festival.
This Saturday, Prairie Sun Brewery, a Saskatoon microbrewery, is kicking off their second annual Oktoberfest with a line-up of bands pulled in from Saskatoon and across Canada.
Looks like one hell of a time.
Of course, it’s not just about getting to see music – there’s also the traditional trappings of an Oktoberfest shaker. Costume contest and perogy eating anyone?
