Saskatoon hardcore group gear up for release of six song EP
The Man and His Machine, a Saskatoon-based thrash group, has dropped a video for their Kingshead EP live sessions. The video comes in advance of their upcoming summer tour, which will see the five-piece heading across Canada from Quebec to Alberta and back.
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfAUhjTVqr0&w=750]On their most recent EP, entitled Gangrene, which features raw, blistering hardcore rhythms and heavy breakdowns along with raspy, dirt-soaked vocals, The Man and His Machine barrel their way through five tracks of violent sludgey punk rock that you could, conceivably, break a couple of bones to.
In addition to the video, The Man and His Machine also have plans to release another EP before hitting the studio later this year.
“We’re going to be releasing all six audio tracks of the Kingshead Live EP on our Bandcamp page this weekend, and the second part of the video will be out next week,” reports vocalist Dylan Nash. “We’ll also be recording our debut full-length early next year.”
