The art of throwing a party: LUGO 2014 Review

A lot of wine was spilled on the floor of the Mendel last night – whoops

That was a hell of a time.

The 2014 edition of LUGO, the mysterious and lively celebration of all things to do with arts and culture in Saskatoon, closed with a dance floor that literally shook. It’s probably safe to say that a lot of people had a really good time.

Also indicative of a really good time: the ratio of booze in hand to that spilled on the floor. Sorry about that.

Huge thanks to everyone at the Mendel who worked their collective asses off to bring us these good times. Also, smooches for everyone who volunteered, played an instrument, spoke some words, arted, or helped out in any way to make the night a success.

For anyone who was digging the songs in-between the acts, here is Ominocity’s playlist for the evening.

Thanks for dancing.
