Local venue going out of business – need a strobe light or a keyboard stand anyone?
Lepps, a Saskatoon metal, punk and rock bar and venue, announced a while back that they were going out of business. Bummer.
And now they are selling everything they own. Check out the list via Kijiji HERE.
There’s some pretty cool stuff there as well, including your standard venue fare such as lights, mic stands, amps, etc. Also, look no further if you’re game for a Smirnoff chalkboard or a mop bucket.
Lepps will be having open houses Monday July 22nd 4:30pm-8:30pm and Saturday July 28th 10:00am-7:00pm for anyone who is interested.
The downtown location of Lepps, 255 3rd Ave. South, has long been home to Saskatoon’s underground music scene. The basement first started hosting DIY punk shows in 1998 before becoming the legendary Animal Farm. The location then changed hands and eventually became known as Walker’s.
