Saskatoon Flood Island relief show a success

Thanks for being awesome everyone

Saskatoon, you rule.

Word just came in that the Flood Island relief show on Friday, July 5, at Vangelis managed to raise a good chunk of change for The Canadian Red Cross. The money will go towards helping those in Alberta who were affected by the massive flooding.

Performances included The Triplophonics, Bastard Poetry, Myles and The Blanks and Regina’s Black Thunder.

Below is a word from Jane Caulfield, who promoted the show.

Hey Everyone! Thank you so much for coming out last night! It was an awesome time full of great music, good cheer and a little old lady selling raffle tickets like a boss!

I just wanted to let you guys know that in total together we raised $1041.00 all of which will be going towards helping folks in Alberta put their lives together.

Thanks for being awesome everyone!

Ominocity would like to personally thank everyone who helped out, played the show, attended or otherwise pitched in to help make someone else’s life a little bit better.
