Local indie group to release debut album on Calgary record label
The Moas, a Saskatoon-based indie rock/shoegaze band, have released four songs from their upcoming self-titled album.
According to a Facebook post, the album will be released on vinyl in April through Saved By Vinyl, a Calgary-based record label that has a glorious and perpetual habit of releasing records by Saskatoon bands.
The songs, which have yet to be mastered, are a whirlwind of muscular guitars alongside earthy synths and breathy vocals, and are a solid indicator that this album is going to slay.
There’s no official word yet, but a record release party, perhaps at a retail location owned by a member of The Moas, seems imminent.
