Chris and Ryan to recount Ominocity blunders at marketing event
Did you know that a week after we launched Ominocity we got so screwed by TicketMaster that we had to go back to the drawing board with our entire monetization strategy? At last year’s BarCamp we gave a lecture entitled “How to Create an Award-Winning Blog in 6 Months” that not only detailed our successes but featured the following recurring theme:
The people at the Saskatchewan Professional Marketing Association caught our lecture and enjoyed it enough to ask us to recount our blunders at their Marketing Horror Stories event on Wednesday, October 24th from 5-7pm at The Two Twenty (220 20th St W). The event is free for SPMA members and $15 for non-members.
The event will be a panel discussion featuring multiple speakers and we will be presenting for roughly 15 minutes.
