The jury is still out whether the band name is devastatingly clever or poignantly annoying, but Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin is far smarter than there wacko moniker would imply. Delivering shambling bargain-basement indie pop, the Springfield, Missouri-based band’s only real fault is their total disregard for prolificacy.

Meaning, with only three albums released in just over a decade, it’s about fucking time they put out a new record.

SSLYBY’s latest album, entitled Tape Club, is culled from the span of the band’s entire songwriting existence. And with their first LP, entitled Broom, easily being a contender for their best record, releasing older songs from that era on Tape Club is probably a good way to win those fans back.
