Download of the Week: Needles//Pins

There is something so undeniably summer about power pop/punk thrash. Best watched in a tiny all ages hall, or maybe in the dank, moldy basement of a bad record store, fun, trashy music is synonymous with sweaty foreheads, popsicles, cigarettes and girls wearing fun skirts with hi-top Chuck Taylors.

Vancouver three-piece Needles//Pins have a silly way of spelling their name, but don’t hold it against them – they have taken summer hostage and are releasing it in small doses of punk rock fury. But don’t worry too much, because it’s actually a really fun way to experience music.
