Every year “A Night Out For Music Heals” takes place on the first Saturday of March, and kicks off Music Therapy Awareness Month. This initiative raises funds and awareness, to support music therapy programs in Saskatchewan.
The Capitol Music Club continues to be a honored for the opportunity to participate in A Night Out For Music Heals and this year is proud to present
Whale and The Wolf
with special guests
Dukes Under Fire
Whale and the Wolf’s music spans deep and treacherous ground, making it difficult for them to hide the genuine thrill and enjoyment felt with each live performance. Refusing to let a single show pass without spilling their guts across the stage, the band continues to leave their audience thirsting for more. Share in the lust and love that is Whale and the Wolf.
Smokekiller is a rock n roll band from Saskatoon, SK fronted by songwriter John Antoniuk. This year the band is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the release of the critically acclaimed album “13”. The band has been in the studio and the first cuts from the “Chiba EP” certainly throw John’s heavier influences into the mix and at times sound like Lou Reed channeling KISS with Dave Grohl on drums. The band will be on the road playing a handful of tour dates in 2018.
Dukes Under Fire began in 2011 as the brainchild of brothers Jason and Jordan Gall. They started out in their garage on a dairy farm outside Hafford, Saskatchewan with a handful of instrumental covers of Classic Rock staples. 5 years later, they’re still in that same garage……………………..as a full 4-piece band with original material deriving from Hard, Blues, and Southern Rock n’ Rol!
