While it has been said that the cold, dark waters of northern prairie lakes possess powers known only to the medicine men of the past, out of the frozen forests of northern Saskatchewan rolls a band of brothers deeply immersed in the black arts of rock and roll.
Their journey began just a short while ago, while the four young men honed their craft in the boreal wilderness. Through a chilled, wintry hell, Blackwater fought off devils and demons to rise to their destiny and reclaim rock and roll for the masses.
Armed with steadfast rhythm, percolating riffs, and a groove that can be felt deep in the bosom of the Earth, they moved south and began to amass a following. Finding their brethren in the dark taverns of the Prairie underworld, they’ve grown their legend by rocking established homesteads to the ground.
Blackwater knows it’s a long journey on the road to destiny, and the outer world has only just begun to pay heed to their wisdom. But, like the fires that burned to keep their forefathers warm through the frozen winters, the passion that burns deep at the core of their being inspires them to press on. Blackwater will not stop until they retain rock and roll from the grasps of hellish beings, and return it to the people… where it belongs.
They like to rock and roll, they like to party…
But most of all they like to rock and roll and party at the same time.
