Built to Spill brings two complete decades of touring, recording and performing and takes the title as one of America’s leading indie rock bands. Under the command of its constant leader, Doug Martsch, the group’s creative process continues to ebb, flow and evolve in its own orbit. Having happily made its home on a major label, Warner Bros Records, Built to Spill operates wholly and consistently under its own steam, taking the proper time to craft timeless songs and playing endless, epic shows to a growing grip of fans each year.
Slow Down Molasses is a six-piece indie-rock collective described as “the Broken Social Scene of the prairies” by Toronto’s Exclaim! Magazine. Taking cues from the wide-open spaces of their home, they craft expansive, texture-heavy pop songs that break into storm squalls of drone, delay and feedback.
