Major music conference, festival and awards ceremony hits Regina
Attention people of Saskatchewan: get ready to administer a series of crushing pats-on-the-back.
The BreakOut West Conference, Festival and Western Canadian Music Awards are happening in Regina starting September 27 until the 30.
This is sort of a big deal, especially considering that Regina will be hosting the 2013 Junos from April 15 to 21.
The BreakOut West festival has curated over 50 bands from Western Canada, who will be playing in various music venues throughout scenic downtown Regina on Friday and Saturday night. The festival can be accessed via wristbands, so attendees can dash wildly in-between bars to catch all their favourite acts.
Sounds fun. And familiar.

The conference, which looks equally amazing, will be hosting workshops on various topics and will feature speakers such as Dan Mangan, members of Library Voices and industry people such as agents, public relations experts and festival managers.
The awards, no doubt, will be total party times.
