I had the chance to play with Tessa Kautzman this past winter in Montreal. Not my usual genre of music to partake in, but the promise of free beer and an all-Saskatoon line up for the show convinced me to fill in for the gig. If you don’t know her, you more than likely know someone who has played in her ever-changing group of back up musicians. Or maybe you’ve spotted her big yellow van, named Corn Thunder, in one of the many Canadian cities she has called home over the past few years.
