Saskatoon Comic & Entertainment Expo at Prairieland Park

The 2nd annual Saskatoon Comic & Entertainment Expo (Saskatoon Expo) will return to Prairieland Park this September to welcome thousands of pop culture fans for a two-day family festival all all things sci-fi, horror, comics, superheroes, and more. Guest news revealed today included:
- William Shatner, Actor: Star Trek, 3rd Rock from the Sun, TekWar, T.J. Hooker
- Edward James Olmos, Actor: Battlestar Gallactica, Miami Vice, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Stand and Deliver (Academy Award Nominee, Actor in a Leading Role)
- Steve Cardenas, Actor: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
- Gail Simone, Creator: Batgirl, Birds of Prey, Red Sonja, Wonderwoman
- Cary Nord, Creator (Canadian!): Daredevil, Conan, X-O Manowar
More guest news will be revealed each month as the event nears. Last year, the inaugural Saskatoon Expo attracted more than 8,800 attendees. Attendees can attend panels and workshops, shop hundreds of vendors, meet and commission work from artists (costs vary), meet their favourite stars at signings and photo ops (costs vary), and participate in cosplay (costume-play).
Tickets are now on sale via www.saskexpo.com. Advance Single-Day adult tickets are $20 and Advance Two-Day adult tickets are $35. Advance adult Deluxe Two-Day tickets are also available ($60), and include 30-minute advance entry and Saskatoon Expo collectible merchandise. Youth (8-12 years) tickets are also available (single-day tickets are $5, two-day tickets are $10, and a $35 Deluxe package is available), and entry for children under the age of 7 is free (must be accompanied by an adult).
