Perhaps best known as the inspiration for Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi’s hit film The Blues Brothers, The Legendary Downchild Blues Band make their highly anticipated return to Saskatoon for a not-to-be missed performance. The band celebrated their 45th Anniversary in style with the release of their 2014 Juno Award winning album, Can You Hear The Music. Their classic hits from their illustrious career include Flip Flop & Fly, I Got Everything I Need (Almost) and Shotgun Blues. The Legendary Downchild Blues Band has not only made a major impact here at home, but around the world, alongside their contemporaries B.B King, John Lee Hooker and Buddy Guy. Their infectious sound is sure to get your toes tapping and hips swinging! “There would be no Blues Brothers if it weren’t for Downchild” – Dan Aykroyd.
