Hailing from Portland, OR, Guantanamo Baywatch is comprised of Jason Powell, Chevelle Wiseman, and Chris Scott. Started in 2009, GB plays a unique blend of scuzzy surf-rock, punk and doo-wop. Their fourth full length LP “Desert Center”, released on Suicide Squeeze Records in 2017, is a barrage of in-the-red instrumentals, reverb soaked prom pop and party rock n roll. While solidly rooted in 50s and 60s rock ‘n’ roll and instro rock along the lines of Link Ray, Davie Allan and The Arrows, and The Challengers, Guantanamo Baywatch still retain a contemporary vibe à la Nobunny, Shannon and the Clams, and The mummies.
Hailing from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Raeburn is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist and producer Maxwell Raeburn Warner. His recent debut LP “Wessi Pessi” is a mixture of breezy indie rock churned with heavy surf-esque grenades that make you dream of warm evenings, drinking on beaches, and that first kiss. Whether you’re looking to relax, rage, or tune out, Raeburn will take you to where you want to be going.
