Hailing from a dairy farm in Saskatchewan, young hip-swinger, folk-singer Ellen Froese is a musician and songwriter best known for her time with local bluegrass-folk group In With The Old. With recent performances at Folk Alliance International in Kansas City, Halifax Pop Explosion, and Merlefest in North Carolina, she has been making a name for herself on the North American music scene. At this show, she’ll be playing rock ‘n’ roll, with lots of classic covers and a good mix of her own old and new material. https://ellenfroesekooijenga.bandcamp.com/
The Sips – a trio (mustard) of dirty mingles that are Saskatoon psychedelic surf crotch, in all of its glory. Dylan Buzit, Graeme Revering, and Ashley Vols are a kind trio-(m u s t a r d), all small in nature yet simultaneously large in charismatic flavour. Surfing on a wave of sangria haze, the Future Time Tapes was brought into fruition during a lengthy communal relationship between the Sips and friends in a filthy mustard room. Realistically, once you’re in the mustard, your in t h i c c. https://thesipsband.bandcamp.com/releases
