This is Bombargo’s second time headlining O’Brians Event Centre, and they couldn’t be more stoked for it!
After selling out their first O’Brians Event Centre show, Their second one is going to be biggest party of the holiday season. Make sure to grab your tickets soon as we’re confident this show will once again be, SOLD OUT.
The boys have been working on a new album and having everyone home for the holidays, Bombargo has decided to unveil a few brand new songs along with their favourite classics to bring you a night of moving and grooving like no other!
With anxious rhythms, tidal waves crashing, and intoxicating vocal timbres, their Debut EP “J’Orage” released May 13th 2016, which has received handful of eastern and western Canadian music awards, the ever evolving bilingual project finds a new horizon to stretch out on. PONTEIX has only just begun to take on the grand nature of the skies they write under.
THE ASHLEY HUNDRED:
The Ashley Hundred creates a rich and colourful palette of textures while surrounded on stage with a collection of instruments and effects. Reverb soaked guitars and layers of harmonies melt together in a thick cloud of atmosphere, while the banjo is given new life as it dances through an array of effects pedals and joins in the dense and lush soundscapes created by the band. Melodic bass lines often take the lead in the song, accompanied by crisp and thoughtful drumming. Failing to find inspiration by any single genre of music, The Ashley Hundred blends their favourite parts of folk, psych rock, hip hop and pop to create a unique explosion of sound, while not being afraid to let their roots show.
