Local and touring bands to kick off Community Fair in Victoria Park
Saskatoon’s Pride Festival is in full swing this week, and has expanded their programming to include more local and touring indie groups.
Taking place June 8 to 15, the Festival is hosted by The Saskatoon Diversity Network, which showcases queer culture through the organization of a Pride Festival, and strives toward building equality, sustainability, and a supportive community.

The music side of things kicks off on Wednesday with Mosaic – A Celebration of Queer Artistry at Village Guitar at 432 20th St West. Bands include The Seahags, Make Liars and Quadrant Khan in addition to a fashion show and poetry readings.
On Friday, the 2013 Saskatoon Pride Festival Community Fair takes place in Victoria Park.
The main stage schedule for Friday includes:
4:00pm-4:45pm: Charly Hustle/The Gaff *will be playing both days between every act.
5:00pm-5:45pm: Open Sails
6:00pm-6:45pm: Kirby Criddle
7:00pm-7:45pm: Jeans Boots
8:00p,-8:45pm: Light Fires
9:00pm-10:00p: Rah Rah
The main stage schedule for Saturday includes:
2:30pm-3:15pm Young Benjamins
3:30pm-4:15pm: The Seahags
4:30pm-5:00pm Nick James
5:00pm-6:00pm Boy & Gurl
